India goes to polls staring from April 16 and the campaign ended at 5 PM today with political parties requesting voters to vote for the political party they support through loudspeakers and microphones.

Voting will begin at 7 AM and ends at 5 PM on April 16. As many as 120+ constituencies goes to poll including 20 from kerala. There is a long list of candidates ranging from youngsters to elder persons with the prominent among them is Shashi Tharoor, Former UN Under Secretary general and well renowned author. He is contesting under from Trivandrum constituency under Indian National Congress banner.

Shashi is facing tough opponents and only time will tell whether he will be able to conquer Trivandrum or not. Let’s wait till May 16 because it is on that day counting of votes will take place.
