I aka VisualAnand works as an independent consultant based in Trivandrum, Kerala State, India. I the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) in Visual C# and the author of Community Server Quickly published by packt Publishing.

I work as the chief technical editor for ASPAlliance.com and is also a member of ASPAlliance.com Advisory Board. I regularly contribute articles, and book and product reviews to ASPAlliance.com, C-Sharpcorner.com, Developer.com, Codeguru.com, Microsoft Academic Alliance and asp.netPRO.

I had worked as a technical editor for several popular publishers such as Sams, Addison-Wesley Professional, Wrox, and Manning. My technical editing skills helped the authors of Sams Teach Yourself the C# Language in 21 Days, Core C# and .NET, Professional ADO.NET 2, and ASP.NET 2.0 Web Parts in Action to fine tune the content. I have also contributed articles for Microsoft Knowledge Base and delivered podcast shows for Aspnetpodcast.com. I am a moderator for Windows MarketPlace Newsgroups.

I have been awarded with the prestigious Most Valuable Professional (MVP) by Microsoft in 2002 because of my excellent contributions for the community and continues to hold the status. I provide Windows and Linux based web hosting services for individuals, small companies under the name NetAns.

I runs LearnXpress.com, Dotnetalbum.com , CsharpFAQ.com, Computerbookreviews.org, and DigitalGadget.Info. LearnXpress.com is a featured site at MSDN’s Visual C# .NET communities section.

I have won several prizes at Community-Credit.com and has been recently inducted into its prestigious Hall of Fame club in February 2008. I am also the “All Time” contributor at Community-Credit. I am one of the founders of Trivandrum Microsoft Usergroup. I regularly blogs under the banner “I type what I feel” at msmvps.com/blogs/anandn/Default.aspx.

I did my schooling at Sree Vidyathiraja Vidya Mandir, Trivandrum and colleging at Government Arts College, Trivandrum. Istill fondly remember school and college days even my teachers. I completed graduation in commerce from University of Kerala, Trivandrum through Institute of Distance Education, University of Kerala, Kariavattom Campus, Trivandrum. I then completed a computer course from Lakhotia Computer Center, Trivandrum, India, from where he learned Windows 3.1, WordStar, Lotus 123 and Command Based FoxPro.

I failed to complete Masters degree in Commerce and Intermediate course in Company Secretary due to health related problems. I joined Harcourt Learning Direct, PA, USA to study Visual Basic 6.0. I would like to thank his brother for his assistance. I had learned Office 97 from a nearby computer training center. I then joined SSI Limited, Trivandrum to learn Java and E-commerce soon after its completion.

I got placement in a private computer training center named IIIT located in Nalanchira, Trivandrum as a faculty from where I mastered and enhanced my skills in HTML, Java, Visual Basic 6.0, XML and C# beta. I faced a huge challange to teach Servlets for students. I made friendship with all students and other faculties there and still remembers the days with a sadness that those days will never return back. I doesn’t have a photo to see my friends now. I am in touch with only one of my friend, Ajo who now works in Dubai.
